The Twinsburg Parks and Recreation Department announces the inaugural Twinsburg Duathlon, scheduled for June 6, 2010, beginning at the Twinsburg Fitness Center. The duathlon will be a U.S.A. Triathlon-sanctioned event that will consist of a 2-mile run, 10-mile bike and 2-mile run, all within Twinsburg’s city limits.
In conjunction with the June 6 duathlon, there will be a Community Sports and Fitness Expo June 5, 2010, along with an athlete packet pickup that day from 1 to 5 p.m. The race and the exposition will be at the Twinsburg Fitness Center, located 10084 Ravenna Road in Twinsburg 44087. Athlete registration for the duathlon is available at www.imathlete.com.
